J.P. Zeeb is a retired Licensed Mental Health Counselor who spent the last twenty years of her career treating over a thousand sex offenders in prisons, residential treatment, and community-based programs. She was a clinical member of ATSA (The Association for the Treatment of Sexual Abusers), the premier international organization for those who research and treat sexual offenders. She began her practice counseling women who had been sexually abused and continued doing so throughout her career.
After retiring, she discovered a love of writing. Not long after that, she met Walter and the other characters who had taken up residence in her head. Their stories resulted in the novel Reckoning – A Sex Offender Comes to Terms with His Crime.
A resident of New Orleans, Louisiana and Brattleboro, Vermont, J.P. Zeeb is an avid international traveler. When not researching her next voyage, she can be found going to museums and concerts, strolling through neighborhoods, kayaking, people-watching in cafes, and walking in the woods.
